How do I register?

Creating an account to access your Aflac coverage is easy.

  1. To get started, you’ll need to provide your social security number and mobile phone number. Or, if you have your Aflac policy or certificate number on hand, that works too! Then we’ll ask for your name, date of birth and zip code. We’ll use this information to verify your Aflac coverage.

    Please make sure the information provided matches what was used during enrollment, such as the use of your formal first name (for example, Michael vs Mike).

    If you provided your social security number and mobile in the step above, we’ll send you a one-time security passcode via text and you’ll be asked to provide that passcode to continue. If you provided your policy or certificate number, you’ll bypass the one-time security passcode.

  2. Then, you’ll provide an email address and set up your credentials by creating a user name (you can use your email address if you’d like) and strong password. We’ll also ask for a response to a security question - just in case you forget your user name or password in the future.

  3. Finally, you’ll receive a registration email with a link to confirm your new account. Click the link to activate your account, and you’re done!

What are the user name and password requirements?

Your user name is associated with the email address provided during registration. Your user name may not contain your policy number or your social security number .

Your user name must include:

  • A minimum of 5 characters
  • At least 3 distinct characters

After you have registered, you can change your password or security question by logging in to your account and editing your profile.

Passwords must adhere to strong password requirements meaning:

  • A minimum of 8 characters
  • At least 1 lower case and 1 upper case letter
  • At least 1 number
  • At least 1, but no more than 3 of the following special characters ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * - _

In addition, if you are resetting a password, any new password created can’t be the same as your previous password.

Not sure what to enter for your phone, address or ZIP code?

We’re looking for the phone, address, and ZIP code you entered during registration. You would have provided this information either online or when speaking with an Aflac agent who assisted with your enrollment.

What if I don’t receive the one-time passcode?

If you provided your social security number and mobile during registration, we’ll send you a one-time security passcode via text and you’ll be asked to provide that passcode to complete registration. If you don’t receive the code and are still on the page, you’ll see a link to request another code. If you are no longer on the page, you can attempt to register again.

What if I don’t receive the registration email?

The first thing we like to suggest is to check your Spam folder.

If it’s not there, go to the login page. Below the Register button, you’ll see a link to “Resend registration email.” Type in the email address, and we’ll send the registration link to activate your account right away.

What if I receive an error that says that it can’t find my policy information?

Sorry about that! If you’ve recently enrolled in Aflac coverage, it may take a few days before your online account is available. However, if that’s not the case, please carefully review the information provided – making sure there are no typos or extra spaces and try again in a few minutes.

Alternatively, if you provided your social security number for registration, please try using your Aflac policy number instead.

Can’t remember your user name?

Your username is associated with the email address provided during registration. If you can’t remember it, you can recover your user name by selecting “Forgot your user name?”

What do I do if it says my account is locked?

If incorrect login credentials have been provided multiple times, we’ll lock the account as a security measure. Please wait 15 minutes and try again.

If you’ve forgotten your user name, please select “Forgot your user name” to recover it. And, if you need to reset your password, you can do so following the “Forgot your password” link.

You can find this in your welcome letter or in the policy packet we provided to you after you signed up for coverage.
